Scholarship Application
PAM has scholarship funds available for the Worship & Music Conference and prioritizes individuals with financial need. Scholarship funds are available for individuals from small congregations, college students, seminary students, and applicants from underrepresented populations.
· The Petersburg Third Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund offers four scholarships to individuals serving in a small PCUSA congregation. The scholarship covers housing and meals for the conference. Housing provided by William Black Lodge in Montreat.
· The Ann H. Stigall Adult Scholarship covers registration fees and 2/3rd room and board fees for an adult from a small church to attend the conference.
· Will Miller Memorial Scholarship is available to a youth (entering grades 7–12) who is active in their church’s music program. Two full registration scholarships available for the Worship & Music Conferences – one per week, if possible.
· James Sydnor Memorial Scholarship is available to a seminary student, pastor, or musician who is from a small church (100 or fewer members) or a racial/ethnic minority church. Two full registration scholarships available for the Worship & Music Conferences – one per week, if possible.
· Racial & Ethnic Minority Scholarship provides registration scholarships and is available to any person of a racial and/or ethnic minority.
· Joseph D. Small Scholarship for Seminarians is available to a seminary student or music major (undergraduate or graduate) and includes room and board in addition to registration. One full scholarship available.
· Robert E. Fort, Jr. Scholarship is available to any college student with financial need. In 2009, the Board established a scholarship, in memory of Robert Fort, for a college student for any PAM conference registration. One full registration scholarship available.
· Lee Foster & Dorthea Yoder-Foster Scholarship is available to a child or youth (entering grades 4–12) who is active in their church’s music program. One full registration scholarship available for the Worship & Music Conference.
· Karmen VanDyke Scholarship is available to a conference participant (child, youth, or adult) affiliated with a congregation of 100 or fewer members, located west of the Mississippi River (per a motion passed at the July 2010 PAM Board meeting). One full registration scholarship available for the Worship & Music Conference.
· PAM Scholarship is for any conference participant (child, youth, or adult) with financial need. Full or partial registration scholarships may be granted to fulfill need.
