PAM has many scholarships available for summer Worship and Music conferences, and one for the PAM Professional Gathering. (Please indicate the scholarship for which this application is intended.) All scholarships cover the cost of registration for the conference. Room, board, and transportation to and from the conference is not covered and will be at the individual's expense.

Will Miller Memorial Scholarship (For a student entering grade 7–12 and active in his/her church's music program)   
  
James Sydnor Memorial Scholarship (For a seminary student, pastor, or musician affiliated with a small congregation (100 members or fewer) or an ethnic minority congregation of any size)    
   
Racial/Ethnic Heritage Scholarship (For any conference participant (child, youth, young adult, or adult) whose racial and/or ethnic self-identification is other than Caucasian)  
   
The Lee Foster/Dorthea Yoder-Foster Scholarship (For a participating child or youth (entering grade 4–12) who is active in her/his church's music program)

Karmen VanDyke Scholarship (For a conference participant (child, youth, young adult, or adult) affiliated with a racial/ethnic congregation of 100 or fewer members, located west of the Mississippi River)

Joseph D. Small Scholarship for Seminarians (For a seminary student or a graduate or undergraduate student majoring in music. This scholarship also includes lodging and meals while participating in the conference.)

Adult applicants:
1) Write a short essay of one or two paragraphs describing your qualifications as an applicant and why you would like to attend a PAM conference. You may either email, fax, or mail in your essay. All materials must include the name of the applicant.
 
2) Ask your pastor or music director to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf highlighting your experience and involvement in the church, your financial need, and how you and your congregation would benefit from your participation in the conference. You may either email, fax, or mail in your recommendation letter. All materials must include the name of the applicant.

Children and youth applicants:
Ask your church music director to write an evaluation statement on your behalf highlighting your musical experience and involvement in the church, how you would benefit from the conference, and their perception of your financial need.
You may either email, fax, or mail in your recommendation letter. All materials must include the name of the applicant.

Timeline:
Applications and letters of recommendation must be received by the stated deadline for each scholarship.
